The Thirtieth Annual Summer Symposium in Real Analysis

Travelling to Asheville

You should try to arrive by mid-afternoon on Tuesday, as we will have a reception with wine and snacks at 6:00 PM in the dormitory. Check out time is Noon on Saturday. This is solid since there is another group coming in that evening.

If you need to stay over Saturday night, you will need to get a hotel room. A list of possible hotels appears below. The prices were quoted to me on May 24 and apply to all rooms, whether or not you share a room.

Note: There is some construction on campus so it is important that you follow the directions to the residence hall carefully. In particular, you don't want to use the main entrance to the campus; you want to use the rear entrance as described in the directions below.

By plane

We will run shuttles to the Asheville/Hendersonville airport on Tuesday and Saturday. Please be sure that you have emailed your arrival and departure times to me.

Hopefully, there will be no problems picking people up. However, here are directions to the residence hall for anyone who might find themselves in a cab.

However, I've set up the query string to take you to the correct location locally, which is the most important part of these directions.

Again, it is important that you use the rear entrance and go to West Ridge residence hall off of Campus Dr. The Google directions should take you that way. You can also look at the official UNCA campus map. Some points of interest on that map are:
