Three dirt roads

Some great possibilities open up, if you don't mind riding on dirt roads. This particular ride from UNCA hits three of them. I meandered over Horizon Hill to get to Beaverdam and took that out to Webb Cove Road - the first of the dirt roads. I took that up to the Parkway and went down Ox Creek to get to Reems Creek. Off of Reems Creek, I turned left onto Eller Cove Road (across from the Exxon) and wandered over to Upper Herron Cove - the second dirt road. That hits Elk Mountain Scenic Highway, which I took down to get to Kimberly/Griffing to Patton Mountain Road - the final dirt road. Then it was straight down Town Mountain to get home. All that in only 32 miles; be sure to have spare tubes!
