I started at UNCA, road out through Leicester until I got to Newfound Road. This goes all the way to Canton, where I went South on 110 (215 might be better) until I got to 276. This is a very long gradual climb to the Parkway - until the last four miles which are brutal. Then it's a beautiful descent back to Asheville. It might have been 77 miles, but it was either that or a faculty meeting.
