A Brief Biography of John
Coltrane
This short essay on the life and music of tenor saxophone
great John Coltrane was originally written to replace a lecture
for Adams State College's Introduction to Jazz class due to
a music festival obligation. Most of the original content
has been left the same. This article also includes brief QuickTime
files of examples of Coltrane's performing.
