Kathleen, Elaine, and Chris returned home from the hospital late Saturday night. We're getting used to a new life and a little less sleep, but we're enjoying every minute of this special time together with our beautiful little girl.

After a very long labor, Kathleen Elizabeth Godfrey was born at 3:01 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2008. She weighed 8 pounds, 7.8 ounces and measured 21 inches long. Elaine and Katie are both healthy and recovering well. We cannot update this page from the hospital, so we will provide more details and pictures after we return home on Sunday.

At some point, hopefully soon, we will paste together our weekly pictures of Elaine as she grew with Kathleen.
